Unit Personnel Relationships.

Affectionate:

  • Victoria Morello: She moved on when she thought I was dead, and I don't blame her for that. I have no ill feelings towards her. She will always be someone I love and admire for the rest of my life. And she will always remind me that I am human. Adande is a great guy and as long as she is happy, I'm happy.

Liked:

  • Adande Greene: I have been serving a long side Greene for a long time now. I don't think he likes me very much. Since I've returned he hasn't spoken to me much, and I've been meaning to speak to him, but this war has kept us all so busy. I don't harbor any ill will against him for him being with Vicky. I hope he doesn't think I harbor any ill will against him for being with Vicky. They both thought I was dead, I have no right to come back and be mad at them. Besides whatever makes them happy. To me Adande will always be the greatest person I have ever served under, and I am honored to fight with him.
  • HM3 Kyle Vernon: Vernon is a great soldier, and an even better medic. I agree with a lot of his opinions and talking to him is always refreshing. I know he's fully capable of keeping us all kicking and I trust him 100%. He's saved my life before and I'm sure he'll do it again some day. I just hope I can repay the favor.
  • Cpl. Rachel Elizabeth:  Rachel has always been a great leader and an amazing friend. When I came back and heard she died, I was overwhelmed with emotions. She had always helped me when I needed it and always had good advice that made me feel better. She knew my story, yet she still remained my friend when most others would denounce or avoid me. I wish I could've been there to see if there was something I could've done to save her, but I don't want to dwell on it. I hope she's in a better place.
  • Flynt Thatcher:  I have served with Flynt for a long time. We've been through a lot and I think we're pretty similar. Once I got back he was angry with me for hurting Vicky, which is understandable. I would be too. I never thought how seeing someone he thought was dead back would be a shock, and I acted insensitively. I tried to make friends again and I think it went okay. I just hope he doesn't hate me after everything that's happened. I still respect him.
  • Martin Banner: Banner and I have always got a long. He helped me through a lot and he was strong and competent on the battlefield. When I heard he'd gone missing I wasn't too worried because I knew he was alive. Guys like Banner don't die easily, and if he is dead, he probably wouldn't want us to be sad about it. It's a soldier's duty after all, and he was a true soldier. I hope one day we'll meet again.
  • Vladimir LeRouche: LeRouche was a good friend and a good soldier. He was always interesting to talk and he really made you feel like he cared about what you were saying. I always enjoyed talking to him in the observation room in between missions. He was such an interesting person, I regret that I didn't get to know him better. I won't let those Reaper bastards get away with killing him like that, he didn't deserve to die that way. Maybe I'll see him in the next life.
  • Callistius Zervaria: Cal was a great medic. I didn't know her on a personal level that well, but we got along. I always enjoyed having her on my team. When I returned I learned that she'd passed and I was sad to hear it. We could use more like her on the field.
  • Jason Kelce:Our relationship has been complicated over my time here. We've had our highs and our lows. I've tried to kill him, he's tried to kill me. We argue, we make friends, we fight, we make up. But all and all I think Jason was a good man. Although we couldn't see eye to eye on everything he was one of my best friends. And he was tough which I respect. I just wish I could've been there when he finally went out. I regret that, but you can't save everyone. He's with the doctors in the sky now.

Neutral:

  • Reed Beckham I'm not sure how I feel about him yet. I haven't got to talk to him too much, but he seems to know a lot about me and everyone else. I haven't seen him on the field either so I don't know how strong he is. Hopefully he doesn't disappoint. Maybe once he gets used to being around everyone he'll open up a bit more. He just doesn't seem like the talkative type right now.
  • Second Lieutenant Travis Kelce: I used to hate this man, but I've decided now since we've both changed and come back I might as well give him a second chance. So far he's been very nice and he seems different, I just hope we can stay friends.

Disliked:

  • Lars Keller:  I think Keller is weak, and he has a death wish. I don't understand him and him running ahead in combat and acting reckless could endanger our entire team. He's young, I hope he can still learn, before a bullet teaches him. He needs to learn how to shut his mouth sometimes. I can't say I was sad to see him go. Hopefully he doesn't get himself killed.

Respected:

  • Pfc. Eleanor Lambert: I remember her on the first mission, I saw so much potential. It's a shame she had to die the way she did. Hell maybe if I was there I could of made a difference. Rest in piece kid, see you on the other side.
  • Nade Ester:  He's a good marine, I've seen him grow from each mission. He learns quick and that's something that can be crucial to a mission's success. He just needs to stay focused on the mission and not let emotion get in the way. I just hope he remembers me when he's commander of a ship someday.

Unit History.

Sam Chevalier was born April 16, 2150 on Earth to a poor family in New York City. His father was killed when Sam was three leaving him and his mother to fend for themselves. When Sam was eight he snuck into an Alliance facility and was exposed to Element Zero.
Sam was caught and his exposure fortunately instead of killing him gave him biotic capabilities, but without implants he couldn't do much with them. Since he developed these capabilities Sam was held by the Alliance for research until the Biotic Acclimation and Temperance Training(BAaT) Program was developed on Jump Zero in 2160.

Sam was transferred to Jump Zero and received L1 Biotic Implants. He would spend the next eight years of his life on Jump Zero training in the BAaT program to use his biotic implants and help aide the biotic research. In 2167 his L1 implants were replaced with the newly developed L2 implants. He was one of the first to undergo the procedure and survive, it was extremely painful and has left permanent scaring on his body. The program was hell and it did permanent mental damage to Sam.

Shortly after he turned 18 in 2168 he was transferred to Fort Charles Upham on Titan to undergo Alliance Hostile Environment Training. He completed training in 2170 and he was sent to serve on the SSV Agincourt. Sam served on the SSV Agincourt for six years until the Skyllian Blitz in 2176.
He was deployed from the SSV Agincourt to the surface where he helped defend colonists from Batarian pirates. This was Sam’s first real combat experience and he saw lots of bloodshed in the battle. A year later Sam was transferred under Major Kyle’s Company in 2177.

Not even a year after Sam was transferred under Major Kyle, his company would take part in The Torfan Offensive in 2178. The raid was a slaughter and Sam really got to showcase his biotic abilities. Sam was a perfect soldier on the battlefield, it was all he knew how to do. He always followed orders without question, even when his orders where to slaughter a room of Batarian civilians. During the battle he broke and started tearing apart Batarian soldiers with his biotics until he was knocked conscientious by his squad leader.

After Major Kyle was discharged Sam was transferred to the Czarnobóg Fleet Depot near Amaterasu. He would serve here until 2183 when he was deployed to Eden Prime following the attacks and helps repel remaining Geth forces and rescue colonists. After a few months he returned to the Czarnobóg Fleet Depot where he would remain until 2185 when he is transferred to the SSV Constantinople.

When Sam first arrived on the Constantinople he was unsure of how he would like it. Everyone seemed far too relaxed for him to feel safe, but he trust Commander Greene so he never said anything. Sam quickly made connections with the crew and found that everyone is a lot stronger then they appear.
This was proven on the first mission when he got to see his team in action for the first time on Sultar. This was his first time encountering the Collectors and he had fun fighting against them. He thought they were worthy opponents. He tried hard to impress everyone with his strength, but he ended up pushing himself too far, the mission was still successful however.

Sam respects and admires strength. After being in the military for so long and being subject to so many violent situations he thinks of himself more as a weapon to be used by whoever is commanding him. He will push himself as far as his commander needs him to go and to ensure mission success even if it means endangering his own life. Sam does not like standing around and doing nothing, he loves combat. Mostly in his down time Sam spends his time honing his biotic powers and trying to find new ways to use them to be more effective. His scars from jump zero and his time in the Alliance have left him cold and with little emotion, he longs for combat and sees every moment not in combat wasted. His previous commanders often report he pushes himself too far and is sometimes reckless in combat, although is almost always pays off.

At the beginning of the Reaper invasion of Earth Sam was picked up and dropped 40 feet by a Collector. When he landed his spine was severely damaged and he was left completely paralyzed. They were unable to perform the proper procedures to treat Sam on the surface and they didn't have a lot of time. Commander Greene then risked his life along with Martin Banner and Flynt Thatcher to evacuate Chevalier to the Constantinople where he then would be transported to the Citadel for the proper treatment.

Chevalier made it successfully to the Citadel and his team was told he died in the recovery process. However because of his past Chevalier was transported back to Jump Zero where he began an experimental program to rebuild his body via augmentation. They fully replaced his spine, arms, and legs while trying to keep the rest of his organs and body in tact. The process was long and painful on Chevaliers body. He never fully filled in on what was going on and he was beginning to break down mentally after many long surgeries and procedures.

After a few months of around the clock procedures he was ready to be rehabilitation. It took him a while to get used to his new body, but once he got a grasp he easily mastered it. He wasn't allowed any outside communication during this time, but he wanted to contact his team, though he would never get the chance. The entire experience left him mentally scared and he began to think of himself as a weapon. Once he was cleared to return back he was broken mentally and seeing his old crew only increased his pain. It reminded him of what he used to be.

Upon returning he found that things weren't the same as when he'd left. He got into many conflicts with his old crew members. But slowly they showed him who he used to be and after being back for a while Chevalier began to recover mentally and slowly made the transition to who he was before the accident. Although he deeply regrets how things went he accepts it and moves on. Chevalier will never quiet be the same as he was before the accident, but he accepts that. And he doesn't want to make the same mistakes again.

After a few months his augments started to malfunction and he was forced to return to Jump Zero where he received upgrades and calibrations to his augmentations. This process took a few months and he even linked up with some old friends from the BAaT Program. While he was away Greene and some of the Alliance High Command thought that Chevalier's talents were wasted on just one team and decided that he would be moved around when he was needed somewhere.

Chevalier was wounded in the final Assault in London and he was believed to have been killed. Since he had spent all of his life in the Alliance and the Alliance technically now owned his body he saw his only out to freedom. He pretended to be dead and sneaked off Earth. From there he went to Omega where he used his biotic abilities to fight local gangs and slowly steal enough credits from them to buy a new fake identity from the shadow broker. His cybernetics were extremely damaged at this point and he needed maintenance or he would die.

He then traveled to the Citadel where one of his old friends from Jump Zero worked in a research facility. He met with her and she agreed to fix his cybernetics. After being restored Chevalier wondered what he would do next. He decided he would use his powers to help those in need. He started out on his own but eventually he began to recruit biotics and skilled soldiers. Soon he had sixty men and two ships under his command. They don't have a name, they just travel helping those in need.
