Kelk (Singular = Kelki) are pack grazers that travel in large groups, typically of twenty to thirty other Kelk. They are small, typically standing at about 3-4 feet tall on all four limbs. They are extremely quick, vigilant, and nimble. They utilize their small frontal arms to pick up berries and other fruits located on the ground, and sometimes will use them to reach higher up to grab at low hanging fruits and nuts. While primitive, they have enough intelligence to have assigned 'sentries' for their grazing periods. In studies, Kelk have always seem to have four to six Kelk stand watch while the others eat. Once they move on, the six previous guards eat, while six new ones take their place. It is unknown if the Kelk have any means of communication, it is widely believed that they do not.
